Spaces in path names - Ubuntu Beginner

Usually, windows users has problems with spaces in path names under ubuntu os.
Original path:

/media/my funny videos

Treatement under ubuntu:

/media/my\ funny\ videos

or

/media/my + [tab] = /media/my\ funny\ videos

In last case, just need to push [tab] key to show the path complete.
